The crops are up, the shows are on, and we take a brief pause to look back on spring 2018.
We’re delighted now to deal with over 700 farming businesses in the UK. That’s a lot of conversations, a lot of relationships, and a lot of learning for our whole team regarding the needs and pains of UK farmers today.
On the other side, we’ve linked into over 100 supply businesses, and a wide range of partners, friends, and supporters.
And, to demonstrate how technology can help: through this growth we haven’t grown our customer team. It’s all designed to be as quick, automatic, and efficient as possible. Admittedly, we are very busy! And importantly, we still know and talk to each of our customers when it matters.
It was therefore great to see many of you in person at this year’s Cereals event in Cambridgeshire, as well as introduce our services to new farmers and suppliers. We are attending a range of farming shows over the UK so please look out for us!
Over past weeks we have also received great coverage in the farming press, including a review of our growth in Farmers Weekly, and part of ‘The Technology Transforming Farming’ in the CLA’s Land & Business publication.
These have really helped us drive users of our Marketplace and Price Check services – and have kept us busy working through all the newly registered businesses to get them set up and running on Yagro.
With our Ag Chem Price Check service we’ve now identified over £1m total savings for our users – that’s over £1m being overpaid to suppliers.
While the Marketplace has grown from strength to strength, with tens of millions of Pounds of business passing through across Fuel, Fertilisers, Seed, Agrochemicals, Machinery Parts, and more.
And keep an eye out over the coming months for new developments – we have plenty of plans to bring you new sources of value through data and technology.
