UK Government boosts Yagro with innovation funding

What if...
...you could see all commercial information about your farm, at the tap of a button?
...information flowed automatically from one system to another?
...you could easily identify opportunities to improve the business?
...you could explore the impact of different business decisions, before you make them...?
What if the business of Farming was reliably profitable again, and had the tools to attract and retain the best young UK talent?
We are delighted to announce that the UK government, under the Transforming Food Production Challenge, has awarded Yagro with significant funding to accelerate our plans for the independent farming sector, and get this critical business information in farmers' hands.
This funding will be used to speed up development of our 'Commercial Intelligence Platform': Yagro's big data analytical approach to help farms see, manage, and improve the commercial performance of their businesses. It builds on the success and impact we have had for farmers through our Price Check analytics service.
The project is a formal collaboration between Yagro and three leading farms. These farmers will ensure that Yagro's tools remain wholly independent of commercial bias, and fundamentally targeted to the benefit of farmers only.
We are hugely excited at this support, which helps us get powerful tools into farmers' hands, faster. The funding will ensure we can fly the flag for technology in the independent farming sector, helping farmers make impartial, fact-based decisions for their businesses.
Get involved
Through 2019 we will be working closely with our Partner farms, as well as close friends and customers in the industry, to develop and test these new tools. If you are interested in hearing more about our plans, and want to help shape the next generation of farming software for the UK, please get in touch with the team at innovate@yagro.com. We'd love your support!
We are also carrying out a research survey to understand farmer needs and habits, which should take no longer than 5 minutes.
